Instead of 'Da New Guy'... I would feel so much better.. Ya'll should make it a choice.
Anyway, I'm moving to TX in about 7-8 months. But I found this site anyway, so I guess I'm getting started a little early.
Lets see.. Intro.. I'm a 20 college student who is taking a semester or 2 off to do work for a company everyone has heard of (Best Buy). I'm moving to TX to live, not to go to school, though I will be going to school while I live there. Sorry, that's a question I get asked a lot, so I figured I'd clear it up straight off.
I have 1 vehicle. So, my toy is my daily driver. I have a 2000 Explorer. Its mods are few and far between. I have a 3" BL and 31x10.5r15 ATs. I'm currently looking for a 4" suspension, preferably Superlift to put on. I like mudding, not trailing. Seeing as it is the only thing I drive, I don't wanna kill it on the trails.
Sorry, I talk (and type) a lot. But hey, at least now you have a better understanding of who I am..
Oh.. I know.. I post a lot, but not in these kinds of forums too much.. Just cause I don't really know too much about these topics, so I tend to make an *** out of myself when I do say things.. LOL
What part of Texas? Don't pay attention to us single guys. We're harmless. :toast: Welcome to the site. If you have questions, just ask. Someone will know or find out for you.:stupid:
As a thought, mud eats parts more than rock.
Texas does have mud, so you won't have a problem finding except july-sept lol.
Welcome to the site and let us know what you need. Lots of good folk here.
I just moved from Bloomington-Normal IL not too long ago. Quite a bit different down here. Mud is a bit harder to find, but you can go out on the trails all year long.
Arit boys.. First things first.. I got a 4" suspension lift today. Very excited about that btw. Not sure what brand it is. But I got it cheap from a friend that had it on her Ranger.
And, lets see.. I plan on moving to South Austin. I took a road trip down there back in March and completely fell in love with it. My intention was to stay here and make some money and then move down there.. But then I met my friend Shannon (who I got the lift from). She and her 6 trucks convinced me to finally do this.
As for pics... Are you talking pics of my truck? ...Or me? LOL
ps-- I'm OBSESSED with taking pics of my truck.. And obsessed is not an overstatement.
Howdy - I'm glad to see another Ford in the group!
I got some buddies down south of you in Bourbonnais.
