Howdy from New Braunfels

Howdy guys and gals. My name is Cory and I just moved to New Braunfels area about 3 months ago. I graduated from Texas A&M in May, and took a job in the area so I could be close to good music and close to good wheeling. I have a 87 Blazer that is mostly a mall crawler, working on changing that. Since I just moved to this area, I don't know hardly anyone that wheels, so I'm hoping to fix that.

At work right now, otherwise I would post pictures. Looking forward to meeting some fellow wheelers

I will as soon as I get home. Photobucket is blocked here at work. I restored the k5 through college, and have a done a few things here and there. I want to wheel it, but it will never be a rig on 40s/rocks/caged/dovetailed etc. I want this k5 to stay nice looking. It will be getting sliders, some bumpers, lockers, and a few other minor things couple of months. I want to get a dedicated trail rig, but it'll be a while.

And FWIW, I don't truly think its super badass. That name came about from when it was completely torn apart sitting on jackstands and looked like it would never be finished.

Pikshers!!!! I want my cake and to eat it to while wheelin.
My blazer was REALLY nice but it's more fun and enjoyable to be one with the truck everywhere, not just an intersection.

Obijuan, I'm 87k506 on CK5. My k5 was blue and tan, and is now solid white. I think you posted a couple of times maybe when I was doing my 14bsf swap

I'm looking to make a trip or wrench and meet some people in the area. I saw the K2 trip coming up but is there anywhere else on the site where people post up about either wrenching or making trips? I love wrenching as much or more than wheeling probably.

Started out:

Going back together:

Somewhat finished:

Specs:
TBI350/headers/magnaflows, TC 4" Soft rides up front, Stock 52s & DIY4x shackle flip in rear, extended front shock mounts, inboarded rear shocks, bedlined inside, diamond plate side panels, greasable bushings, 14bsf, 10b front, 4.56s, 35x12.5s MTZs, 15x10 MT Classic IIs, Tuffy center console, a badass stereo and a bunch of other stuff I'm forgetting.

Did it all myself, and it was my first time to ever do body work, paint, etc. I have done lifts and stuff, but this still was a lot for me to tackle as my first big project.
