Depends on your definition of "close". The S.A. guys can clue you in to what is close.

Welcome to the board.

Trees Ranch
Katemcy Rocks
Long Ranch

Are all 2 hrs from San Antonio. I think they are mostly closed for the winter, but you can look up their websites.

I think Katemcy opens up the first weekend of Feb. Also, Cline Ranch, near Medina Lake, didn't take hunters this winter, so if you can gather up 5-10 rigs he'll open up.

Welcome! I am also a Crawlorado transport. been here for 1.5yrs. What part did you come from? I moved from Denver, but am from the SW part of the state. Wheelin' here is not as convenient, but it can be just as good.

Welcome man and no worries, I am in the process of moving the direction as well. From Cali though. I will look you up when I get there, I know if we look hard enough we can find somewhere to wheel.
