Exclamation Makin myself seen for the first time

Just found the site tonight. On a computer I'm at a bit of a loss, however, you put me under a hood and I can make anything work. The hidden meaning there is: Getting any carnage pictures from me is a unlikely proposition, unless you're a damn good coach.

As the screen name suggests, I've got a 77 F-150 and the truck is a bit screwy. (Or is the truck normal, and I'm screwy?) She's running a freshly overhauled 400, NP435/205, open D44, mini-spooled 9" combo, sitting on 33x12.50s. (Until I find some D60s and some 38 in my budget) Haven't got any lift under her, but the fenders haven't require any action yet, yet being the operative word. After building a jeep, this full size has been an interesting change, but the extra room for OBA and other cool toys is

Thanks for all the warm welcomes. After some of the sites I've logged onto, this is a much appreciated change. Well, after I get a couple more of the bugs worked out of the truck, I plan on wheeling the hell out of her. I've got to get a couple of dependability issues solved (read Duraspark ignition system particularly) and then she'll be trail ready.

Greetings!
I dropped a Proform HEI 1-wire distributor in my 351 and it's sweet, check it out at BroncoGraveyard.com. After replacing the entire top end of my engine it cranked on the first tap of the starter.

I've got a mallory dual point sitting on the shelf in the garage right now for it. I'm just waiting on Jegs to get the new cap and rotor shipped to me. I ordered the damn cap back in july, its been on back order since, supposed to be shipped out 9/20, but I'm not holding my breath. Least they could do is knock the price down some due to the RIDICULOUSLY long wait, but I'm not holding my breath on that one either.

As far as the 1wire HEI goes, thats a route I might take later on, but I haven't seen a lot of parts like that for the ford big block engines. For some odd reason, there isn't much of an aftermarket for them.

Big block, cool. I hear ya on the aftermarket deal for big blocks - it's hard enough finding aftermarket stuff for a small block.

Holler at me if you get stuck with a prob, I got a bro whose blood runs Ford blue, he has a bunch of parts and I got another bro who's a mechanic at a Ford dealer - he's building a 429 right now.
