Warmachine just gettin started
New Guy

Found this place thanks to Greywolf, (Thank you greywolf by the way) He found me on Colorado K5 which I have been lurking on for years. I live in Saginaw TX I work full time for the Air Force at Carswell Naval Station.

My rig is a 83 K5 Blazer all stock for now except the motor which is where I started first, I dropped a 383 Stroker in it which is around 425 HP. I spent all my money on the motor which was my budget for the whole truck. but it was worth it.

Just wanted to say thanks for having this board and glad I finally have it to help build my rig.

Welcome to TX4x4!!! I've had several Blazers, great rigs to offroad or tow a boat. I bet that 383 screams, nice motor!!! Holler if we can help, there's always folks selling/trading parts. And I've been working on GM trucks for 20+ years, even though my current toy is a Ford Bronco. I love the removeable top feature of both, and prefer the straight axle of the GM. I've dealt with the body issues as well, so if you have any rust I have lots of experience.
