New Guy - Bryan, College Station

Hey Everybody,

My name is Weston. I love wheeling and wrenching on things in my spare time. I have an office job now, so I have more time to go web wheeling, hence my presence on this forum!

A few pics of my junk:

My little rock crawler, that I am currently parting out sadly... see the for sale section!

My buddy's 65 International Scout. I helped him swap a honkin Cadillac 472 and th400/205 combo into this. It's a blast to drive!

and my old caddy that I painted and bagged back in high school. RIP

Anyway, love the site! Hit me up if you are in the BCS area.

-Weston

I still have the caddy. I pulled the motor to swap into my hearse project, then sold the hearse. I bought a motor to put back in it, just don't have any time! Anybody want a project? It's at my pop's place in Aledo.

That 472 had to be a squeeze getting it into the Scout! Where was that pic taken?

There was a little bit of fire wall and core support messaging to make it fit. We even managed to fit the caddy booster and MC in there, too. It runs like a raped ape! I learned the hard way that flooring it in 2wd leads to unpredictable and rapid change in direction! I nearly flipped it over in a parking lot when tuning it when it shifted, lost traction and spun. I make sure its in 4wd when drag racing now...

Brent460, you have a PM

Yeah, it would've been fine if a rock hadn't decided to leave home and roll up into the wheel well.

We thought the leaf spring was going to snap when I tried turning/backing up/ going forward, etc. Nothing a bit of winching couldn't solve...
