planefixer just gettin started
new guy laporte tx

hi every one im tim found this forum online one night

now my truck it a 08 chevy colorado 2x4
2.5in smaxx lift
on tread wright guard dog 31.5x10.50 h3 rims
rebuilt 4l60e to a 65e with super servos ex filter and trans cooler
engine all stock for now
i got a 93 tune truck hauls now
cb is a galaxy 979 all stock with a 102ss whip
swapped in a z71 rear end same gear but with locker

and here are the pics
as is after mods and clean lol


need more lift lol me and a bud went to creek side edge was great and was the only time i got stuck see why


from the other side


i made circle


all flexed out


other side 31s tucked great and no rub


and the after


rear view


not same time but trans temp stayed around 175 for the most part but got up to 199 for bout a min here is my set up


still on my list is v8 swap 14b rear jana76 up front sas swap built 4l70e atlas4 3in body lift and 7in sup lift on coils on h1 rims with 42 tsls or 39.5 also later on get a ls 408 s/c from lme looking 750hp at the wheels should make for a fun mud truck

thats part of the reason right there i spend most of my time on 355nation there are a few more got a guy up in canada runs 42-44 boggers on his and fender flares that look like wings lol

thanks i have a truck meet comin up this saturday ill be talking with the guys about a beach meet and getting an offroad meet at texas offroad ranch soon id like to go to general sams but thats a lot of mud for a 2x4 to take lol any one been there ? i like the mud but not the deep holes

i use it for milage also plan on a s/c so i got it

oh ya there is the nation and coloradofans im on both - nations better

we have regional meets, state meet, and local meets last year we had a nation meet or usa meet it was great i met a lot of people i know first was the off road meet also oh ya the meet was in Kansas the off road part was at Tuttle creek orv near manhattan ks my truck was the lowest there and i not one problem then it was over to olathe ks for the big meet
