Newbie

Just stumbled upon this site and it looks like a pretty good group of folks with lots of info. I've been building a 76 cj7 for about 2 years now, FI350 sm465/np205 currently has 10b/14b but going to swap in the d60/d70 I picked up. Had to do a full resto on the body and frame an all the wiring, plumbing and such are all brand new. I know its kinda slow but I bought it when I was in the USMC and now with work and school it rarely gets any time or money for that matter. Glad to join a texas wheelin site!

That makes me feel alot better about my build. I wish I could have started with a running driving rig and just modified it as I went but that didn't happen. Hopefully it is running pretty soon. I've been finishing up the wiring on the FI swap, along with building a new 350 for it to replace the motor in it now.

Howdy

I am just down the road in Rosebud (sometimes atleast, I am back overseas right now though). I am pretty sure I am behind on my Yearly quota of s and wings at Hooters, so maybe when I am home next time you can help me catch up.

I think I saw your truck at a DQ the other week when I was coming up from Lexington to Waco. If you ever need anything when your deployed just say the word and Ill try and hook you up with whatever you need. I totally understand being deployed. Oh and once I get my heep running you can show me some good spots to break it!

Ha Ha, yeah that was probably me. The cop had a real weird look on his face when he pulled up to ask "You didn't drive that on the road here did ya???" and an even weirder one when I told him I built it like that so I didn't HAVE to drive on the roads.
