Tommy R just gettin started
Newcomer from Austin

Hey y'all,

Just learned of the site so I thought I'd check it out. I'm just returning to offroading after having a Bronco II in college (sold it 13 years ago). Got into racing cars for awhile, got burned out a bit, and just picked up a late model Bronco this past weekend. It's a "pretty" truck so I won't be making it a dedicated trail rig/crawler, but I do plan on taking it offroad at every opportunity! I don't want it to be purely a pavement pounder. Only "real" mods planned are a 4" lift and 33" tires....nothing too radical because this will be my daily driver.

I'm really interested in locating some legal trails near Austin that offer a variety of difficulty, not just dirt roads but not rockcrawler-only territory, either. Something somewhere in the middle would be cool.

Tommy

The closest legal place near Austin is Long Ranch. Here is a link with his schedule

Welcome!

Once you start out on the easy stuff the more you will want to try the harder trails.
