TX85K5 just gettin started
Noob K5 owner from DFW

Hello! My name is Brent, and I own an 85 K5 Blazer that has been parked out in the pasture for 3 or 4 years now. I'm getting the itch to dig it out of the weeds and get it trail-worthy to go wheeling again. I'm looking to get connected with some folks with similar interests in my area.

I'll try and get some photos of the Blazer this weekend and perhaps start a project thread once it gets under way. I look forward to meeting you folks!

73+ Blazers are inferior to 69-72 Blazers. That is all.

As it sits now:

I would love to swap the motor (400+hp 350), suspension (4" lift), and wheels/tires (35" mud terrains) from this 79 K10 4x4 over to the K5:

Here's a tired 84 K5 that I may swap the top over from:

We live just off of Plano Rd between Campbell and Renner. The K5s and truck (among other toys) are sitting down on family property in Teague, TX.

How's your rig coming along?
