Hi all, my name is Mark. Age 46 and have been into wheeling since age 19, mostly mudding back then. Started with a 1979 Dodge Power Wagon W100 with a 6 cylinder engine and a 3 speed tranny and an NP203 transfer case and stock street treads. A few days after I drove it off the lot brand new I pulled the engine and tranny and dropped in a built 318 and an NP435 granny low 4 speed and then lifted it several inches and put on 36 inch ground hawgs. My wife and I took Clint (Stretch) wheeling with us all the time. Later I had a 1983 Ramcharger 4x4 which I kept for 10 years till they came out with the new body style Dodge P/U and ordered a 1994 extended cab 4x4. Later got a 1996 Dodge 4x4 and then a 1999 TJ, 2001 SuperCrew and now have a 2004 4 door Titan 4x4 which I love.
I was not wheeling for several years until I went to Marshall Creek and BMRA with Clint and that got me hooked again and a few months later I got Rusty a 1981 Ramcharger which is now in Version 5.0
It has a stock frame with 1.75x.120 wall HREW tube cage on top. Mildly built 318 with a Holley Truck Avenger, Crane PowerMax cam and lifters and high volume oil pump. Stock TF727A auto tranny and Klune-V in 4:1. The front and rear axles are dana 60 with 5.86:1 gearing coil spring conversion with the rear axle 3 linked and the front axle radius arm linked with a track bar and welded carriers front and rear with the front axle using full hydro high steer with a Danfoss valve and a Tractor supply single ended ram 8"x2" The tires are 42" IROKS
My son Stretch helped me build the current version.
I own and operate a small communications company, hold an amateur extra class FCC license, General radiotelephone commercial FCC license and very late in life finished my electrical engineering degree. For several years I served as the Emergency Management Coordinator for Panola County. Enjoy bowling, electronics, playing pool and wheeling.
Happy trails!
Official "WEB WHEELER" and arm chair Quarterback.
