San Antonio Newb

Hello everyone. I have been watching everyone else having fun off roading so now I guess its my turn to have some fun too. I am brand new to 4 wheel drive but I am learning fast thanks to this forum. I recently bought a '88 GMC Suburban 4x4. This is gonna become a light duty off road project until I can afford a more serious rig. Also I am still trying to find some good trails for short fun rides around San Antonio, Converse, Live Oak, Selma, Schertz, Im sure you get the point. Thanks for your time and yall have a great weekend!!

I would love to post a pic of it I just am not sure how. I would like to do some serious trailing but not climb any mountains. My current plans are a 4" lift and maybe some 33"s or 35" Wrangler MTRs. In the future I would like swap axles to 14b and dana 60 with rear locker. I would love to see it flex like some of the other rigs Ive seen here but I dont expect to be able to do that until it can be a trail only rig. I just want to have fun with it and learn what I dont already know about 4x4s. I am always willing to take advice on the best way to fix up this truck.

Someone tell me how to post a pic and I would love to hear what yall think.
