So I added a little 1 3/4 DOM tubing to the bumper so it would match the contour of the hood...and it matches the sliders too..Just need to send the bumper back to powder coat now...What do you guys think?
Fusion bumpers , I got mine from treasure valley diesel.com $995.00 plus truck frieght shipping...Did the powder coat locally because they wanted twice as much..
hahah, Nope... I modified it and dumped more money into it.....I used it for this little project and to do by tube fenders...My roller isnt motorized, so it takes 30 mins to get a peice of 1 3/4" to start to arch by hand...1 1/2 is a little easier...It will eventually pay for itself over time though.
Anyone else like it or hate it?...Im just curious, its there to stay now, but I havent seen any one else offer any rolled tubing to match the hood lines...The bumper builder offers straigh bar, but it just doesnt match the body lines in my opinion.
The second pic is a little deceiving, i guess its the angle that I took the picture that makes it look like it sticks out so much...The tubing is in line with the first downward brake on the top of the bumper..The license plate area sticks out pass the tubing in person.
