Yup my wife wanted a newer Jeep so today 12-16 i bought her an all stock 2004 dk Blue Rubicon auto. with 20450 miles and she wants it on 35's by next month! (I really do love that woman)

I've been saving for awhile and have 6-8k to put into it fairly quickly and build it so she'll be happy. I wanted to build a custom suspension but right now i have time contraints she wants it now and this is her d/d so i cant tear it apart and work on it over the winter.

plans are definately long arm 4.5''-5.5'' (rubicon, clayton, Nth degree, rock krawler??)
1'' mml
1'' bl
belly up
rock rails
full cage
f/r bumpers (front stinger)

??? i'm sure more will come. been thinking about hydro assist since she's a girl and WILL drive this thing anywhere. she thinks if i bend it or break it my husband can fix it, or if you would have built it better that would not have happened.(i still love her)

plus i'll get to drive it sometimes!

pics comming!

I'll be doing the bypass on the locker control next week waiting for parts to come in.

I've been busy!!! ordered today 12-17,

toys by troy front stinger bumper
toys by troy whinch plate
light/high lift bar for bumper
kilby steering box skid
1" mml MORE
1" body lift Daystar

I'm was going to try to order the lift tonight as well Clayton 4" Long Arm. alot of reserch has gone into this lift and the good part is they actually have a warranty. i'll call and order on Monday.

still thinking about what steering i'm going with. theres lots.

it will only have 35's, for right now till my daughter grows more and i upgrade the shafts, then 37/38's maybe it all she'll handle.

Can you post some links to the web sites so I can look at it? My wife is wanting the same set-up on hers.

We are going to the beach this year, and would love to get with you and the Major if he is still around.

OK went and ordered the Rims and tires today...all 5. they are 35 x 12.50 x 15 Pro Comp Mud Terrains. they look exactly like the BFG M/T except they have some siping on the tread blocks. I have the X-Terrains on the other Jeep and they work great, are quiet, and last like a BFG. but they suck in the mud!!! hopefully these will work better

well went and picked up the rims and tires, and the drive shaft came in too. Called and checked on the B/L and TBT front bumper, the b/l was on back order and not scheduled to ship till the 13th, told the guy not acceptable and i need it by Friday, he found ity from another supplier and was shipped today. It will be here on Friday. The TBT front bumper is well I dont know, no answer at TBT and no call back yet... The lift has been shipped and should be here today or tomorrow. i hope to install the B/L and MML Friday and install the lift itself this weekend. my wife told me that the Jeep is just too damn short and she wants it done before her birthday!(Jan 20)

I took some pics but my wife has to get them off the camera and e-mail to me so I can upload them. Should have them up tomorrow. If the B/L makes it in Friday we will start the install Friday Night.

The rear axle is out and on the ground stripped of everything i could get off with out using the grinder too dark and im to tired. will cut off the mounts in the morning and weld on the truss for the top links. will have to adjust the pinion angles when im done but for now its slow going... will hopefully get it completed by 2pm tomorrow. pics to follow then!!
