If this is the wrong spot, please move it.

I need the move the Hydro clutch pedal from my donor blazer to my new rig. Has anybody on here done this before?
1. One way I found said to pull the steering column and the break booster. Then I would need to drop the clutch and break brace assembly down.
2. Is there anyway I can use the brace assembly on the automatic truck. Maybe just swap out the short bolt that holds the break pedal on for the long bolt off the donor Blazer?

what do ya'll think?
I know someothers are about to do this, Acprokeith, Rvreddog, and Donuts1, so I'm sure this info. will be used.

When I did the manual conversion on the K10 I swapped everything from my K30. It was a manual clutch though. Everything bolted right in, only thing I had to do was cut a hole in the floor for the linkage.

I would just swap out the entire pedal assembly if you already have it. It's pretty easy and shouldnt take long.

How do you pull the Master Cylinder? Do you just pull the reservoir part or the big round part.

Unbolt it from the firewall. Then pull the whole assembly as you outlined, its actually pretty easy.
What are you gonna do with the old pedal assembly for the auto?bigok
I don't know, you want it?

Well, I got the steering column out and all the plugs unplugged. I unpinned the brake pedal from the MC. That brace or holder that the pedals attach tolooks like it don't want to come out. Not a lot of room in there, and all those studs going through the firewall and other places look fun.

It's a lot easier than it looks. Just undo the booster from the firewall. I believe it's 6 nuts on the vacuum boosters. Those nuts are the hard part, mainly because they are lock nuts and there is usually undercoating on the threads.

I got it out.
It turned out to be easier than it looked. It had a lot of wires hooked to it though, the brace that is.
Now I just have to pull the stuff I need from the donor blazer. It almost like a practice run.

Done, but now I have some kind of wire coming through the firewall on the outside where I need to bolt the the clutch parts up to.
Any idea what wire would come through that spot on a auto?
