cutting fenders

forward about 1.5" and put some 37's on with some bead locks. never cut fenders before, so if anyone has, i would appreciate some advice. it seems pretty self explanatory. i was going to use my grinder with cutoff wheels. was going to cut about half of the desired amount and then fold the rest up inside to give it some rigidity. once the build starts, ill keep yall posted with pics and what not. thanks!

EDIT: If anyone has pics of their steps or a link to some, that would be great. im also still trying to dcide the pattern to cut out.

I used a cut off wheel. I widen my front wheel wells. My plan was to widen it all together...so that is what I did. I'll post up some pics.
removed the whole lip..streched it.

re welded the lip on. notice the gap in the middle.

all done

Future trail tires. just need to pay for them.
