I am planning to buy some tubing in the next couple weeeks. I have to use my trailer to pick it up so I'll have plenty of spare room for more material. If you want me to pick up any material from Triple S Steel, just let me know what you want. You will need to be prepared to pick the material up from me fairly soon after I get it because the oily coating doesn't stand up to the weather very well. I need cash in hand or by PayPal before I place your order.

If you want to send money by PayPal, please include the following fees as stated on the PayPal website. I'm not into losing money on this deal.

"Receive payments funded by Credit Card, Debit Card or Buyer Credit
4.9% + $0.30 USD for domestic or U.S. transactions"

I am planning to order the following items for my use:

1ea 24' stick of 1-1/2"x .120 HREW
2ea 24' stick of 1-3/4"x .120 HREW
1ea 24' stick of 2"x .120 HREW

I don't need all of the 2", so 12' of it will be available.

If you want to call them yourself and check prices and availability of materials this is the branch I am going to.

Here's a link to their round tubing chart in PDF.

And square tubing

I will get current prices when the time gets near. If you need delivery, I will consider it for the cost of fuel in San Antonio only.

They have to order DOM, I'm not planning to wait that long. AAMOF, I'm prolly going in the next couple days to get the HREW.

The San Antonio branch has to order DOM from Houston. There are two locations. IIRC, the North location is the large one.

BTW, I know someone near 281 and Bitters that has 2 sticks he doesn't need anymore.

There are numbers in the first post if you want to call them. I'm gonna buy some regardless, so I'll be checking soon. I'll post up when I find out.

OK, just talked to Adam at Triple S.
They have about 30ea 24' sticks of 1-3/4"x .120 HREW @ $1.66/ft or $39.84ea, in stock.

He also has 5ea 1-3/4 .120 wall x 18'8" sticks of DOM in Houston - $79.33ea.
If you want DOM, I have to order it today so I can include it in the order for Friday pickup. It will come in on the truck from Houston on Thursday.

I will place my order about 3pm today.

Besides DOM being stronger than HREW, it's also about double the cost.
DOM actually starts life as HREW then gets cold formed.
