I am looking into putting together a doubler and need a few pieces. Right now I have 2 directions I can go so depending on what I can find.

Option 1: I need a sm465/203 adapter with a 10 spline 203 input. I would also need a 10 spline output for the sm465.

Option 2: I already have a sm465/208 adapter so I would need a 203 range box and 32spline input.

Let me know what you have and what you want for it. Prefer something local and not in a hurry. Oh yeah and this is on a college student budget.

Thanks in advance.

I plan on using one of your homebrew adapters. If you would like I could be one of your test dummies ;) just playing yes when y'all set a price immgetting one of yours.

Already have the 32spline 205. Just need 203 range box with a 32 spline input or a 203 with a 10 spline input and sm465 203 adapter

Ive got a complete chevy 203 range box but its got a 27 spline input in it. $25

Ive also got a range box that has the lower gear set in it but it's missing the mainshaft and input. You can have this one for free if you want it. I robbed the parts out of it and gave them to another friend.

Both of them are in waco.

And there are a few of the 10 spline 203 inputs and adapters on pirate but they are going for around $300 shipped.

Awesome. I will take them.

Just a question but what do you mean lower gear set? I didn't know there were different gear set for 203s. Will I be able able to use the lower gearset in the complete range box?

Alright, got the range box.

Now I need a 32 spline input for a 203.

And it's worth a shot but does anyone have a 32 spline intermediate shaft?

If you're doing a custom adapter to the 465, why not cut and respline the 465 output shaft to whatever input you have? I got a Jed's Machining peice for a Ford 435, but I'd think somebody should do a 465 version.

I'm running a stock 208 adapter just a custom 203/205 adapter.

Also when you cut and respline you lose the heat treating in the shaft. I'd rather not cheap out and create a weak link in my Drivetrain.

If that's the case, don't buy a cut and resplined shaft for the doubler. I think Jeds will cut and respline a mainshaft for around $75 but I don't think they do any heat treating afterwards but I could be wrong.

Check with NWF for a new shaft too.
