1961 Falcon

Teal with turquoise interior, 4 door sedan.

Interior is pretty nice, especially for being unrestored. No rips on seats and carpet is decent. Driver door upholstery needs help but others look good.

144 cubic inch I-6 with 2-speed Ford-O-Matic transmission, think 3.50ish gears.

This car sat up for around 15-20 years before I bought it for my wife. We had planned on an engine swap, but the original engine wasn't in bad shape.

New parts:
front wheel cylinders, front drums, front wheel bearings, coil, cap, rotor, plugs, wires, carburetor, fuel pump, belt, all hoses, coolant, 4 Cragar wheels, 4 tires.

Needs some minor work like flasher (included), horn relay (included) brake master cylinder (included), instrument voltage regulator.

Runs good but some gains could be made by setting the points/dwell better and fine-tuning the carb.

Radio missing but I found one on eBay and it goes with the car. Also included is an original Ford factory service manual, and a mint condition dealer brochure.

Glass is all original FoMoCo and in great shape. As you might expect, rubber and weatherstripping is pretty dry and cracked.

Worst thing about this car is the paint job. Was originally aquamarine but somebody painted it teal... Poorly. Give the car to a body shop for a few days and it would be a real showstopper. From 20 feet away it looks pretty good, but the paint gets crappier the closer you get.

Blue Texas title in my name, and has current tags (not antique, we planned on driving it more)

$4000 Or best offer. Nobody can decide what these are worth, so if you don't like my price make an honest offer. Car needs a new home and wife wants a new car, so it needs to go even if we take a hit.

Text 419-967-6737 for info. Car located in Abilene, can assist with delivery if needed.
