Is it round cams, single cam, dual cams, single lim, split lim?
45-70 is this the draw lenght?
Mike
Just curious... I have a high country that I bought back in the day and I don't remember having a adjustable draw lenght. maybe between 1 or 2 inches at most.
Do you know the FPS at say 65 pounds?

45 to 70 should be draw weight. There is a lot more to FPS thandraw weight. Arrow length, shaft size, tip weight, and flights. And shorter and lighter is not faster in the world of archery.

What is the draw length on the right handed bow, or did I miss it in the write up? Thanks

Really. Been bow hunting sense 97 but what do I know. Still would like to know the FPS and what arrow set-up he has and draw lenght.
Mike

and if you think speed isn't important your wrong Mitch.
I do agree that shorter and lighter is not the best.

Well Mitch. You quoted me and you said what you said. And it seem to me that you were questioning me. Making it seem Like I had no clue what I was talking about. That is the impression I got out of what you said.
I asked two questions...I am sure he Will give his answer along with what arrow, pounds and tip (field tip or broad head or??) he was using for that speed. I would also like to know the draw length. A compound bow is not universal. So more info is needed. I have researched his bow and didn't get anything. another reason why I am asking.

You dont have any clue what you are talking about, if you would have ACTUALLY researched the bow you would find all of the information you need.
BUT since you dont seem to want to listen to anyone or ask for the pictures of the bow I will give you the information for you.
45-70 is the draw weight, not the draw length
The Browning Summit II's have an adjustable draw length of 27-30"

As for the FPS of the bow is does not have a IBO rating but I would quess that since it is a round wheels bow it would be in the 220 FPS range with a 350 grn total weight arrow at 65lbs.

Sorry if I come off as a dick it just pisses me off when people try and act like they know what they are talking about when they really have no clue.

Cause "dick" is actually some people's first, middle or last name.

Mike I used to bow hunt alot growing up (but I found out what food is and can't really do it anymore).

As stated in above posts, there is no set FPS on a bow. Even with a set ft lb draw weight, you can and will have dramatic differences in FPS of a arrow when it leaves the string depending on many factors.

The weight of the arrow shaft.
The weight of the head.
The type of fletching.
The type of arrow rest.
The type of arrow release.
The type of knock.

And a few other random factors.

All of these come into play. You have to select and tune your arrows to your bow and vise versa. The only way to realt know what combo does what is to use a machine that will tell you the FPS when a arrow passes through it.

Any way please post a pic I would like to see the bow.

You are right Snick. But like any bow hunter....myself included. I check to see what my FPS is using a given arrow, fletching, field tips, broad head and what grain. I go as much as paper testing my flight as well to insure it is flying straight and not sideways.
So no I don't take offense to what you posted. Because you are right. If you look at my first post #3 I was asking simple questions. And I am sure he would be able to answer them with the answer or no I do not know. For myself answering FPS I would let the buyer know what set-up I am using....along with what site system....and if I have the silencers on....because that also comes into play as for as losing some speed. Being that as it may. I don't know what the big deal is. I didn't think I had to break it down like you did Snick and say all that. I wanted a simple base line and see if for one if the bow would fit my draw lenght...and two if it was any faster then my Bow.
So for me not having a clue of what the hell I am talking about... get over it. I've been bow hunting sense 97'.
I have two... you making three coming in here and trying to state what any bow hunter should all ready know about their bow.
Then to come in here and talk a little smack to me and have no intension's of even wanting to buy the bow and make me out to be a dumb @ss.
whatever. Life goes on. But I am always up for a good debate or test my knowledge of the subject. So if any one of you would like to start a new thread on this subject bring it. I feel bad that all three of you guys came in here and mess up his for sale thread. And me having to defend myself because it seems I have no clue what I am talking about. Bring it. As for BJ I sent you a PM made just for you.
Mike

WHooooo..... Cowboy.

I am not talking smack and I do not dispute the Q you asked. Nor am I saying you are a DA. You know your personal equipment and what it does. (Yes some of the above posts did come out that way.)

You asked the right Q's (bow setup Arrow set up) I apologize for my post. I just kind of skimmed most of it when the BS started.

Although the info givin should help some new people to the bow world should they search. lol

Now to the OP what arrow are you using with this set up? And have you ever measured the PFS with that set up?

Again a pic would be great to see the cam set up.
