Slide-in camper

Good condition, top pops up so you can stand up in it, I'm 6'3 and it's fine. Has fridge that runs on propane, 110v., or 12v, stove, heater, sink (no bathroom), window type AC. Has a full-size bed that is in the cab-over part. I think the camper's about an 1988 model. The footprint is right at 8'. Would be ideal on a gooseneck. $900 is what I have in it, so that's what I need. I'll get a picture of it tomorrow.

I'll have it at Tree's this weekend hopefully, I'll try and slap a "for sale" sign on it.

How far past the tail gate does it stick out? Reason I ask is I was looking at slide in's today but my rig hauler is a bumper pull? Pic's please.

I've hauled it on goosenecks and in my long-bed while pulling a bumper-pull trailer. It had a brace for the AC that wouldn't allow the tailgate to close, but it in no way interfered w/ the trailer, I just took off the tailgate.

I've since moved the AC to the side, underneath the part that hangs over the side of the truckbed. Since I'd been using it on a 20' gooseneck I needed the extra space behind the camper that the AC took up to pull the jeep in closer. The AC could easily be moved back to the tail of the camper, I just put a rectangular piece of aluminum diamond plate to cover the hole.

Don't know if this is making sense, I'll get a pic tomorrow.

Could you do me a favor and measure the height of the front over hang from the trailer floor up to it. I have a western hauler flat bed, and I am thinking about a slide in camper like this, but am worried about the headache rack on it.....it may be to high for a camper like this? Thanks in advance..

Mike
