Need Some Help from our Gracious Service Members

OK, I'll be the first to say I know nothing of how our military operates as I have never served. However I want to first say thank you to each and every one of you guys. If it wasn't for you my family would not be able to enjoy the rights we do each and every day. I believe it is especially important for all of us here at home to show our support for you guys and gals around the Holidays.

Now w/ that said here is where I am having a problem. I am and want to take care of all shipping costs on evey service members orders til the first of the year (lower 48 those outside this I will work w/). I have yet to advertise this as I am afraid of being taken advantage of by some low lifes out there who are non service members. However up until now any package going into a US military base we have taken care of the shipping on it. I also know there are service members who are not receiving this as they live off base. So to you who are enlisted how can I make sure that a customer is in fact enlisted or on active duty? I would very much like to advertise this so we can do our part to support you guys. Please Help, any ideas welcome even if it means us having to make a call and confirm a person is in fact who they say they are. Thanks and God Bless. Shawn

You can ask the Army soldiers for their AKO (Army Knowledge Online) email address, it is their Army email address and is mandatory for all soldiers to have. I believe that the Air force and Navy have kind of the same thing but not for sure. If a soldier says they do not have one or it is not their name, like "[email protected]" they are trying to take advantage of you. Mine is [email protected]. That is an example of them. This is a good thing you are trying to do. Happy Holidays to you. I f you have any more questions hit me at [email protected]. I will try to help out best I can.

email address

any person in the military has an email address that ends in a .mil, such as [email protected]
that should be the same for anyone in other services as well, as the other post stated about usmc.mil
thanks, awesome idea
