Remembering D-Day

Take a mintue today to remember and Honor those that Fought today, 65 years ago. They were truly a great generation with great will and determination. WWII Vets are passing away at a rate of 1000 per day. Thank one if you know one. Over 10,200 died today, 65 years ago, on foriegn soil.

So very true. You will never se that kind of sacrifice again from the citizens of this country. Kinda sad. My Grandfather was there. He flew a C-47 Goonie Bird in the night before dropping air support and then continued flying in Supplies and doing drops. I wish I had talked more about his career when he was alive. I now do some volunteer work with elderly, many are Vets. I love to hear thier stories. If your a Vet, don't be afraid to talk to your family about your experiences. One day, they will really wish you had.
