Late 60's early 70's I was growing up in the D.C.
area as My Dad was stationed at Andrew's AFB.

As a kid taking field trip's in school
I had been to Arlington national cemetery
several time's and it was just a field trip
I'm 7-10 years old.

Now that I'm 40 plus year's older
I it would bring tear's to my eye's to walk
those same step's I took as a child.

To those that rest there and those that will

THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Arlington national cemetery is one place i really want to bring my little girl when she is old enough to understand. While a very sad place, it is also a very happy place. to know that so many families have cared so much for this great country is truly amazing. It is an amazing sight.

Hope everyone has a safe and happy Memorial Day. Please remember those that have fallen protecting our liberties. We owe them a debt we may never be able to repay. Also keep in your minds, hearts, and prayers, the families of todays fallen. They have paid the highest price for our freedoms and liberties. Honor them by trying to be a better American. To all of our Veterans, Thank You, from the deepest part of our hearts. We are what we are today because of you.
