Wheeler's for the Wounded

Attention everyone: MIDNIGHT FOUR WHEELER's of San Antonio is the official host club for the event: "Wheelers for the Wounded"

Wheelers for the Wounded
May 2&3, 2009
Trees Ranch

Attached is a link to site: http://wheelersforthewounded.org/index.htm

Here is the forum for this event: http://wheelersforthewounded.org/forum/index.php (Feel free to register and help welcome all new wounded military members)

What is this event? The link will explain all, but basically it is a current active military member named "Jason" who is serving in IRAQ that is organizing 26 events beginning when he gets back from war in April of 2009. It all started by him taking a wounded friend wheeling and has committed 26 weeks of his life next year to hosting events in each State to show our wounded service men and women how much we appreciate thier service and sacifice.

This event will be a huge event with local media, national media, four wheeler magazine coverage and local military involvement as well as large coporate sponsors.

Midnight Four Wheelers is host club, but we will be needing the help of other local clubs and many more volunteers.

I will keep us updated as I get more information.

Richard

Will ya'll be looking for more rigs for the Veterans to ride in as well? I am about 2 hours from gilmer so if there is gonna be a event there I could probably make that along with about 4-5 other rigs that I usually wheel with.

I am not sure about all the details with the Gilmer run yet but I can keep you informed. The Toyota Trail Riders (like Midnight Crawler said) is going to help TTORA host the event at Gilmer April 25 & 26 2009.

Yes, we will be looking for empty rigs for Veterans and families to ride along. We will be updating this site as we start plans for this event. I am meeting with the Trees Family soon to discuss event. Thanks for volunteering rigs.

Ok sounds good. I will try to keep up with the updates. Like I said I imagine I can get about 5-6 rigs if not more up to gilmer at least. Trees is kind of far and we havent wheeled there before. I have been a to gilmer a few times now and my buddies have been there lots of times so we could definately show them a good time. And we usually run all of the hardest trails so hopefully they arent gonna be scared.

We have nothing to do with the run in Gilmer.
