the paint is valspar...oil based enamel.

tractor paint......they cary alots of different colors..

not sure on the mix but i just used 1 quart with about 4 ounces

just mix alittle gas to the the paint untill it sprayed decent...

the paint is pretty thick......

the gas does take the shine out of the paint though.....its like a shiney satin color now..

I like it. I was looking at that aisle of TSC a few weeks ago. They have alot of colors to pick from.

So the gas just acts as a thinner/reducer? How does it affect the drying time/hardness?

I've used some of that TSC paint before and it was pretty nice, but took forever to really harden into a useful finish. Part of that I'm sure was the amount of thinner that I had to add to get it to spray.

Buy some hardner from a paint supply store, it makes a world of difference.

I just brushed mine on. Thinned it some. On my trailer i thinned it and put hardner in it to. Made a big differance. But the hardner is almost more then the paint.

the gas takes the shine out of the paint making it a little shineyer than satin finish...

when i sprayed it with real reduser it took about a day and a half to dry..

but with the gas it seemed to dry to the touch in about 8 to 10 hours...
although still soft it was basically dry to the touch...

the hardner is way better , but my color was 8 dollars and the hardner is 13 bucks,,,,,,lol
