pinion bearings for rockwells

Where is a good place in Houston to get the bearing and seals for 2 1/2 ton axles?

Auto parts stores can get them, ie-NAPA or O'Rielly's, etc. I assume you need the part number too... Last time I went in for a Rockwell part, they couldn't help me without a number, so...

There are two different bearings for the pinion shaft. Here is a PDF diagram. Page 162 has the pinion diagram, 163 has the corresponding parts list. HOWEVER, this file is HUGE. REALLY HUGE. If you have a slow connection, I might not click on it.

https://www.logsa.army.mil/etmpdf/fi...000/083365.pdf

Diagram numbers 12 and 15
Part numbers 29585-29520 and 22780, respectively

The CAGEC for those parts is 60038, so if you want to figure out who that is (what manufacturer) you could ask them.

Or, starting on page 711, there is a list of National Stock Numbers, and I think that NAPA should be able to recognize that.
From figure 67 on Page 162:
#12 should be 3110-00-100-5332 from page 717
#15 should be 3110-00-227-3711 from page 723

That took a long time to look up. If NAPA can't tell you what those numbers mean, I don't know what to say.

That said, it is cheaper just to buy a new center section if all the bearings are toasted.
