'01 dodge ram for sale
I bought this truck in august of 05. Since then I have dropped over $10K in the truck. Also the truck only has 50K miles on it. 90% of the parts I installed were brand new when I installed them. I am going to try to list when I installed the parts and weather they were new or purchased used.
'01 dodge ram 1500 4x4 5.2L 318, auto transmission, NP231 t-case.
When I bought it had
Triple A-pillar gauge pod -- Transmission temp, air/fuel gauge, fuel pressure gauge
Full length ex-cab overhead console
12 disc changer w/remote
remote starter system
TV tuner, FM modulator and antenna
The DVD player, 12 disk changer are mounted into the side of a custom built console. The previous owner designed and built this to house the DVD player, changer, and the switches to control everything. There was a screen in the truck too but didnt work when I bought the truck so I removed it.
I purchased and installed since I bought the truck

All powered by a Memphis MC-2004 amp

In July of 06 I purchased a brand new JVC in dash DVD player/screen. It is a double din deck so the dash had to be modified to house the screen.
The amps, sub, and the new head unit will probably be removed before the truck is sold. It just depends on how much the truck sells for.
The truck did not come with power windows or locks. I had the window motors, lock motors, and all the hardware to put the electric windows and locks in it. I have the power window on the driver side wired up and I have the rest of the stuff to do the rest. I also have the wiring diagram for the stock switches.
All parts were bought new and installed about the end of July of 06.
01 dodge D60 Front axle 5:13 gears, Spicer 5-733X u-joints, new ball joints, brake pads, freshly turned rotors, and posi-lok to eliminate vacuum actuated disconnect
76 14BFF rear axle 5:13 gears, disk brake conversion, all new bearing races, seals, all new brake calipers, rotors, brake pads, wheel studs, and 1410 yoke with u-bolts instead of straps. The only thing that the rear axle needs is a new brake line to go from frame down to axle. The line needs to be made longer and new hard brake lines need to be installed on rear axle. I brought the rear driveshaft to a local shop and had a 1410 yoke put on the driveshaft and a Spicer u-joint.
For tires I am running 40X12.50 Michelin X tires on 20X10 JAX HD wheels. I have 5 wheels and tires so that I have a full size spare. The tires are military tires. They are 12 ply radials.
Front: Pretty much everything on the front suspension is the same when I bought it
4.5 diesel coil springs which netted about 8 of lift
5 Skyjacker control arms with relocation brackets
Skyjacker 7+ trac-bar I replaced crappy end with a new bushing style
Homemade steering brace
Dual shocks kit. When I installed the D60 one of the inner shocks got messed up so I am just running the outer shocks. I do have the other inner shock. Just need to get one more to run the inners on both side.
Rancho 9K shocks with in-cab controller. The shocks need to be plumbed to be able to control them from in the cab. The compressor and gauges are already installed.
When I bought the truck is just had 5.5 Superlift leaf springs
When I swapped in the 14BFF I installed:
Zero rate blocks to re-center axle
And also upgraded to 9/16th u-bolts and also flipped the u-bolt so that they are pointing up and cant get hung up on anything.
Also there is a 3 performance accessories body lift on the truck. So it has roughly 15 Ã‚Â½ of lift in the rear total and about 11 up front.

Already installed in the truck when I bought it:
York on board air compressor--- Switch to turn on and off quit working and I havent looked into it to figure out why. So for now I just run a wire straight to the battery to turn on and off.

Drop in bed liner--- Bed liner not installed but I do still have it.
Kodiak Sidewinder step on driver side that drops down 8 when you open the door. When the door is closed it is tucked up against the cab and out of the way.
Already on truck when I bought it
Installed at the end of April of 06 and parts bought brand new except for MSD stuff
Valve springs, keepers, retainers, seals

14X4 round air cleaner
Installed new water pump when I did the cam swap
Also I removed the heads and had them magnafluxed and the heads checked out good and there werent any cracks in them.
Also when I replaced the cam and all of that other stuff I modified the stock intake manifold to gain more power and replaced steel belly pan with an aluminum one to eliminate blowing the gasket so often
I also purchased brand new and installed roughly November 05 January of 06:
Harland Sharp 1.7 roller rockers
Flex-a-lite 290 dual 15 electric fans
Edelbrock ceramic coated short headers
2- Magnaflow high flow catalytic converters
2- Magnaflow mufflers
2.5 Exhaust cut outs
02 Simulator replaced rear 02 sensor
I added a 2nd Red top optima battery on the passenger fender so the truck has dual red tops. I order a battery tray and all of the hardware from the dealership so that the battery would look stock sitting on the passenger fender.
Already installed on truck when I bought it:
Aux transmission cooler
Transmission temp gauge
I purchased TCI deep aluminum transmission pan November 05 but I have not installed it yet. I will be installing the pan this week.
The only cosmetic damage on the truck is the dash board on the inside is cracked, there is a ding on the hood, the rear driver side fender got pushed in a little bit from the tire pushing it in some, and the passenger side rear fender has a dent in it. That is pretty much it. There is no major body damage anywhere. The truck runs incredibly strong. The 318 along with the 5:13 gears has no problems at all turning the 40 tires up and down the highway. And for as big as the truck is it drives and rides great. This truck would be great to use for show or go. Whichever you prefer. The starting price is going to be $20K. I have put lots of work, time, and money into this truck and hate to get rid of it but I am ready to work on something else.
