1 Ton SAS'ed 1995 Chevy Ext. Cab - FEELER

Drivetrain:

Tuned TBI 305 with ultimate TBI mods.

Rebuilt 6.34:1 NV4500 with later model shift cover.

Rebuilt Divorced Twinsticked NP205 with 1350 Input/1410 Output yokes.

GM Dana 60 Front Axle - Xover, 4.56s, Lunch Box Locker, 35 spline stubs, outer tube seals, heim steering, 1410 yoke, all new bearings and seals.

GM DRW 14FF - 4.56s, Detroit, late model GM disk brakes with twin piston calipers and working parking brake, 1410 yoke.

1410 front and rear driveshafts with 1350 trans to tcase shaft.

Suspension:

GM 52" Front springs with poly bushings, 6" ORD shackles, adjustable shackle hangers.

GM 63" Rear 2500 HD Springs with poly bushings, ORD Shackle Flip, ORD 6" Shackles, 1" Tapered relocation block.

Tires:

37" Toyos on 17x9 steelies with Airsoft Balancing.

What the truck needs:

T-case shifters
AC Compressor
Possibly AC control switch in Dash

Other details:

Motor has 360K miles on it however it runs fine.
Shorty Headers, Magnaflow merge pipe, High Flow Cat, Dynomax bullet.
Bedliner
Tool box
WTO tapped steering box (not installed)

Issues:

I will get slight death wobble everyonce in a blue moon. I attribute this to having no stabilizer/hydro assist.

I figure the drivetrain on this truck including the wheels and tires is worth roughly $5K.

That said, I would like to try and get $5500 for this truck if possible.

The SAS was done cutting off the lower control arm mounts and the bottom half of the engine crossmember as this truck was 2wd to start. The coil bucket holes have been plated over. The Shackle brackets are bolted through the chassis using sleeves where I could, and bold/backing plates for the rest.

Here are some interior shots:

The wires hanging down under the dash are there simply because I was tuning the fuel tables and it was easier to have the ECM on the floor of the truck. This wires disappear once the ECM is back in place.

Everything you could want to know about how this truck came together can be found here:

I daily drive this truck. It starts and runs very well. Plenty of pep for all the miles, but I attribute that to the gearing and the transmission. The only issue I have, I included in my first post just now so that everyone will catch it.

As for pictures, take a look at the build thread I linked too. If you need more after that, I can take them.

As for the fab work, the front hanger was put together by an experienced friend of mine using 7018 Stick rod. It incorporates a trailer hitch and provides more than enough structural support. The front shackle brackets utilize the DIY4X 4 position spring hangers, and those were put together by Mark at CE Offroad.

This truck is still used for hauling, towing, and whatever else I need it to do.

Alright, found my dream truck. $5500 takes this one. I will also include the following:

Fully prepped 454 TBI unit - will support 450 HP.
Moates APU1 Tuning Hardware/Software.
"Spare" 1 ton Chassis

If you are local or close to Cypress, come by and take a look.

I'll back Bryan on this truck. He has always been a standup guy with me and I've seen this truck take form and know the knowledge he contains that has gone into it. I've rode in the truck for what the Motor has into it miles wise the nv4500 and gears make up for greatly, if this truck had a healthy 350 or a 454 it would be a monster.

Bryan has some quality parts and experience in this truck, I hate to see it go.

Free bump.

Thanks bud. FWIW, this truck has NEVER been in 4WD. Truth is, I just haven't had the time or interest with everything else going on in my life.

I will also consider full or partial trades for a 95-00 Classic Chevy 3/4 or 1 ton truck in similar condition. Manual transmission is preferred. Any interior trim is fine.

If by chance any of you has a Crew Cab Shortbed 3/4 ton in the years mentioned, you will be considered first.

It's hard to tell, but does the truck have a front drive shaft and have you cut the floor for the t-case shifter?
