I had them under a 47 Willys with 39" claws. never had a problem but the rig was light. if you have a heaver rig you might go with a smaller tire. a 10 bolt will hold up better than you think but if you stuff a tire and put it to the wood sometheing is going to blow.
it all depends on how you drive your rig.

did you have 37s all the way around . i dont see how you didnt bind up in 4x4 with 5:13 in the front and 5:38s in the rear

.25 is not that mutch difference, and i wasn't driving it on asphalt in 4-Lo. I never had a problem with shifting the transfer case even while i was rock crawling. It couldn't be putting to mutch stress on the transfer case, or it would have been hard to shift. plus with having the front tires turning a little bet faster the steering works alot better.

.25 is alot of difference actually SOmething was having to give to work, .25 is a quarter turn, thats alot at high rpm's. Im mud, sand, or anything soft you'll never notice, On Rocks, or trails, something is gonna have to give.
