1977 chevy 4x4

i have a 1977 chevy 4x4 k10 long bed that im looking to get rid of. it has a 350, th350, np203, a dana 44 front, and a 12 bolt rear. the truck has some rust but it really isnt too bad. it was running a few months ago but the tranny was shot. i bought it would strip and use the frame to convert my 1968 chevy to 4wd, but after doing alittle digging i have decided to try to find a 67-72 4x4 frame instead. there is no title but i will provide a bill of sale. i am asking $600 but would rather work out some kind of trade for a frame for my 68.

Not slamming your sale Goochie, but why go through all the work swapping frames when you could just modify yours to a 4x4 one? Is it not possible to weld spring hangers to the front of the frame and do the cutouts (backside of front springs) like you would when putting in longer springs in the front of a K5?

I'll find the link when I get to the house.

Just a thought.....

my 68 is already stripped to the frame and i would rather set it all down on a 4wd frame instead of hanging springs and cutting out the old cross member and building or finding a new one.

I gotcha. Just a suggestion without knowing how far along it already was.

Those '68s are very nice. First vehicle I ever had was a '68 Chevy pickup. Good luck with it.
