The Good & the Bad
The Jeep starts on the first hit, even for a carbureted motor it is not hard to start at all, very easy cold start. A lot of work has been done adjusting the motor and getting it to run great since some of you guys saw it last at megarun. The Jeep idles very smooth. 4 wheel drive works great with the lockers. Even though the gears are not that low, the motor, tire, and gear combo makes the Jeep really capable. Never used in mud, only hills and rocks (I hate cleaning mud). If you are a Texas Longhorn fan, the paint is awesome, a big eye catcher. Pretty much this is a clean, capable, Texas Jeep.
I bought the jeep with no title, to use strictly off-road. Soon after I got it, I started looking into making it street legal and getting it titled and found out it is not too hard to do here in Texas, there are various ways to obtain a Texas title. If you have any questions about this, feel free to ask. It will be up to buyer’s discretion and what you are looking to do with the jeep. As far as getting it inspected, it must pass a safety inspection (blinkers, lights, horn, mirror, and seat belts), no emissions. Besides that the only thing the matter with the jeep is the four bolts that hold the shifter onto the top of the transmission were old and broke off. The bolts need to be drilled out and new bolts put in. Easy fix, just no time to mess with and transmission is still very much functional without the fix. The shifter can still be put in gear easily. I have wheeled twice with the shifter like this and just had to be easy on shifting (no handling the shifter like I was driving a ‘Vette in the ¼ mile drag) most of the time your in first or second gear climbing anyway.

Additional Info
I bought this jeep June 18th, so I have had it just a little over a month. This was bought as a weekend off road toy; I have taken off-road locally 4 times since I have had it, and had a blast. My daily driver Chevy truck was having motor issues and I was forced to get a new vehicle. I have nothing to tow the Jeep with any more and with gas the way is will be looking from something that will save me some $$. Selling to use money to put down on new vehicle.

Contact Info
If you have any questions or concerns feel free to email [email protected] or give me a call @ 817-999-1617 or post back here. I can not always answer my cell phone while at work from 8-4 so if I don’t answer, leave a message and I can call you back on my lunch or when I get off. Jeep is located in Hurst, Tx 76054. If you are local feel free to call and schedule a time to come by and see it. If you have any questions I will do my best to answer them for you. If you would like pictures of something not shown, ask and I can try and get them to you. You can check out more pics in my folder in Member Gallery CJ-7 "Bevo" for Sale

Asking $4000 obo. Cash does talk, asking about a possible trade never hurts either. Thanks

JP. I think the pic second from bottom is the best posted and typical of how I will always think of that jeep.
Anyone considering this jeep; I will say this jeep goes over rocks VERY well, I went wheeling with JP twice and the only problem I know is the shift stick which can be dealt with and the title issue.
I have the other pics from our last trip.

I really like that pic too Johnny. I like the one coming off of that rock garden with the KC's lit up. Anyway i had more fun with it playing on the rocks than anything else. Thanks for the bump!

JP,
You get that thing sold yet?
Seriously, I got great pic's of that thing out at 360, oops, shouldn't mention that on this board, you shouldn't be out there, so it is ok if you die there.
Give me a shout when you get a chance.

Best regards.

Dragoonranch,
I can't reply to PM, if you include your e-mail or number, I could comply with request for pic's.
I really do like that jeep. The stick shift should be an easy fix. The title, I just didn't want to deal with and Just don't want a trailer rig.

Best regards.
