1988 suzuki samurai

No time to finish this project so putting it up for sale.

NO TITLE! Sorry

What it has and comes with:
Sprung over
very good tread 29" sxs (cute i know....) back tires a little better than front see pics
rear disk brake conversion
lock right up front
welded rear
all stock gearing
trail tough z link
home made sliders (nicely done)
2 motors, two transmissions
one motor has early toyota corolla carb, Saginaw power steering pump and bracket for hydro assist, and a set of doug thorley headers.
very fresh clutch, maby new i cannot remember.

What it needs to run:

I had this samurai running and driving, but a rod bearing went out. So i acquired a motor from a friend, he was told it was a good motor, i have never heard it run. I bolted it in along with clutch that came with it, it was either brand new, or lightly used i cannot remember. I never finished installing the motor, wires, fuel, radiator and plumbing, distributor, starter, ect... all need to be hooked up or installed, but it is all there. The front springs are bent, but i have a good set that will go with it. The drivers window is broken but i have a spare door with a good window that goes with it. The key is lost for the original ignition switch, but i have a good switch with key that come with it, just plug it in. It has a few rust spots but they are localized, not throughout the entire rig. It has dents and scratches.

Later, a friend of mine went 4.3 liter in his samurai and i bought his old motor with intentions of installing it in mine. It was in a fully exoed samurai buggy, he crawled up almost every thing at k1 and k2, my point being that the corolla carb worked VERY well on steep angles, very little trouble with stalling. He drove it up in the driveway and we pulled the drive train where it sits. It also had the doug thorley headers and saginaw p/s pump. That was about 2 years ago, it was running fine when we pulled it. I will be honest it smoked a little, but i have never seen one that didn't.
My plan was to pull the motor i started to install, and go back with this motor since i knew it was good.

All the major componets are there to get it going, just needs a good home.
I am asking $2500 obo. This samurai is not a big wreck, but i understand that it is by no means a "cream puff", so i am negotiable on the price. I think its best use would be for a crawler, but with a bonded title it could easily be street-able
Absolutely no trades except for a new set of 39" red label crawlers (seriously)

It's cute Fred! Maybe if you lay on it with your cowboy hat no shirt and cut off shorts and a sprig of wheat in your mouth it might sell quicker..... (I like the color)

Words that don't go in the same sentence.
