Is that one of those, oh dang it, I can't remember the name of them, compressors? Interested!

Where can I mount this monster? Having an air compressor on the rig would be awesome! Would help with air tools to assist others or myself in doing trail repairs. If this answer can be had, I'll take it. Do you know if it is functional?

Thanks,

Manny

Yes, that's why I posted the pic. I was wondering how to incorporate the York.

EDIT: Here is a pic before I started to dress up my engine.

oba

I checked the clutches and they work with a 12 volt source. I also removed the side bracket and idler pulley which were for the smog pump, have no way to check the other functions. Anyone heading to San Antonio?

Here is a question. It doesn't seem like I'd be able to hook it up to the engine with the current configuration I have.

I was thinking of building a cradle, and mounting it that way. I would power the compressor by an electric motor that could be turned by the battery or by a generator. Does anyone know if a small electric motor would be strong enough to turn that compressor fast enough to produce the required air flow?

Re: A/C air compresor

Not to ruin a sale, but if you are going to do all of that Manny, just buy a 12v compressor and call it good.

Yep or a power tank. Or take off all that crazy bracket stuff on your motor.
