GM truggy start

i have this truggy i traded for with Gorrila (James) here on the board. i will probably never get around to doing anything with it. right now it has no engine in it, but has a turbo 350/205 combo. the bed is done real nice. james had 56" springs on the front but they have also been removed. you can use 56" springs or 52" springs on the front. no axles either. this thing would be a beast for whoever finishes it. i just have more than enough. asking 1000.00 or will take less without the 350/205

The cage is all .120/.125 wall dom, the front can be set up for 56's or stock. A set or rocks and 6.0 l. take out with 4l80e is what she needs. The rear hitch is built for recovery.
Jeff, if no one takes this rig for a few months, I'll come get it.

Looks like a decent start for a beginner.

What shape is the cab in, specifically, around the front windshield and the firewall? What year cab is it? Truck or K5?

What do you want for just the cab?

Thanks,

Manny

You can't get the cab out without cuting up the cage...

I wasn't sure whether or not he could salvage the cage for resale. My request depends on the solidity of his cab.

Hey Jeff,

I need the windshield frame and the firewall of the cab. The rest I don't need. The key is that there is no rust or very little. From the looks of it, your cab looks in great shape.

Here is a picture of the part I am needing....

Basically cut the windshield and the firewall out.

I would take the whole cab and let the body guys do the surgery. I'm not body work savvy, except for taking things apart.

i will have to get some more pics. it is not at my house at the moment. i will state that the pics i posted are of it together. the hood has been taken off and the engine is out of it right now. i believe the radiator is also out of it. this thing is beefy. if i didn't have so much else going on i would be tempted to keep it. james did a fine job on the little touches on this thing. the door hinges, tubing for rockers, storage compartments in the bed, there are lots of nice well thought out things on this.
if i keep it up, i am going to talk myself into keeping it.
