Kingpin D60 front and hummer rims

I have a 91 Dodge Kingpin style D60 front axle with 3.54:1 gears, completely stock (I pulled it out of the truck). $800 obo SOLD

I also have 5 8-bolt hummer beadlocks, but I don't have any runflats for them. Make me an offer on the rims. RIMS SOLD

The rims are in San Antonio and the axle is in Corpus Christi. The next time I go down to Corpus I'm going to pick up the axle and bring it back with me to San Antonio. I can arrange for the axle to be picked up in either Corpus or San Antonio though, or any where in between there.

Any questions you can PM me here, call me 361-510-6921, or email me [email protected].

Thanks guys, happy wheeling.

Chris

Sounds good. Call me whenever you want to pick it up, and I'll give you my address. I go to school from 11-2 tomorrow, other than that I'm free.

Anyway you could get the axle up to Dallas? Is this axle metric or just like a chevy D60 axle, only an inch narrower in width?

I don't know about the metric part. Its my understanding (I could be wrong) that the this axle is like a chevy kingpin D60 except its narrower and it doesn't have 35 spline outers like a chevy does. I think it has 30 spline outers?

I forgot to mention this stuff, and I've been asked about it.

It is a SRW style. NOT a dually axle.

Here is some info copied from Billavista's D60 bible: D60 Bible

Dodge dana 60 92-93 (this is a 91.5 axle) knuckle : kingpin, Diff: passenger, gears: regular, springs: leaf, width (wms-wms): 67.5" (versus chevy 69.5"), Hubs: internal, splines inner/outer: 35/30, approximate spring pad span: 32.5", spring pad width: 2.5", calipers: single piston, spindle bolts: 6.

As far as taking it to Dallas, I'll drive it up there if you want to pay for my diesel from San Antonio to Dallas. It would have to be on a Sunday.

Chris

Mitch, It's up to nooblet on that. I'll pay $800 cash when I can see the axle. I would bring you and your bud some brew for your troubles. Man this site rocks, lot's of good guys on here.

nooblet,
I might be going to Austin soon. Maybe we can meet up there somewhere off of I-35. if you don't want Mitch's friend to deliver the axle.
Also can you PM me some pics of the axle?

You interested in any trades on the axle? I've got 4 31x12.5x16 bogger on rims, 6 lug, almost new. I have 2 dana 20 pass drop t-cases. A PSC built Chevy steering box thats tapped for hydro steer. I could head your way whenever if you were interested.

Right, those axles have 35 spline inners and 30 spline outers. AutoZone has a BruteForce U-joint for them that is a tough nut for the money. BTW you can get gearing for them all the way down to 7.13:1 and you can sometimes find a 5.86:1 ring and pinion that came out of a forklift for cheap $$$ That is how I found my ring and pinion.
Just my .02 worth.
