Mikuni PHH 40mm 2-bbl x2 Carb Setup for Suzuki Samurai
Listed here is a Used RARE MIKUNI PHH 40mm 2-bbl x2 SIDEDRAFT CARBURETOR SETUP #240-660 for a SUZUKI SAMURAI SJ413 or SUZUKI SIDEKICK / GEO TRACKER fitted with either the 1.3L or the 1.6L 8-valve SOHC engines. This will not mount to the 1.6L SOHC 16-valve, or the 1.3L 16-valve DOHC ( Suzuki Swift ) engines. This was designed as a high performance upgrade for the Carbureted models, or as a conversion for the later Fuel-Injected models. Will also work on Samurai's with a 1.6L 8-valve engine swap. Im asking $1500 OBO.
In this kit:
A pair of MIKUNI PHH 40mm 2-bbl Carburetors
Mikuni intake manifold for mounting to either a Suzuki 1.3L or 1.6L 8-valve SOHC Engines
Manifold soft-mount gaskets
Fuel linkages (one tee and end elbow with a length of fuel line)
2 Mikuni PHH Square Air Filter Assemblies with chrome covers and Stainless Steel wing nuts
4 40mm Short length Velocity stacks/Air Rams (fitted inside of Air Filters or without Air Filters!)
Throttle linkage and cable trunnion (for fitment to factory accelerator cable) and also choke linkage
4 extra metering jets
A complete 10 page installation kit manual with diagrams, setup and tuning procedures and replacement part lists.
A Mikuni PHH Carburetor Service and Repair Manual (with tuning instructions)
This kit will bolt up to a stock engine with minimal modifications. THESE ARE PERFECT FOR OFF-ROAD or SHOW USE, also ON-ROAD (non-emission controlled vehicles) No longer neccesary are the stock intake manifold with EGR valve and all the other emissions devices such as the PCV and factory air filter/pre-heater assembly (therefore not for use on emission controlled vehicles). These will run off of the factory mechanical fuel pump or a replacement electric fuel pump fitted with a fuel pressure regulator. The Mikuni manifold uses the stock thermostat housing and temperature transmittor, but a revised upper rad hose is required (short length of cut hose replaces it). On the manifold, there are two vaccum fittings, the larger one for the brake booster vaccum take-off and the other smaller one for the distributor vaccum advance take-off. Many of the electrical plugs and connections that were used to control the factory Hitachi 2-bbl carburetor are simply unused (cleans-up and simplifies the engine bay). The included ball throttle trunnion fits to the factory accelerator cable, a universal choke cable (available anywhere) is required for choke operation, not included.

(STOCK SUZUKI SAMURAI 1.3L CARB APPLICATION) - "Acheive a 28%+ horsepower gain with a high level of torque. The Mikuni is the best performance carburetor available for your 1300cc engine."
(UPGRADED SAMURAI 1.3L w/Tri-Y HEADER, PERFORMANCE CAMSHAFT AND EXHAUST) - "A whopping 40%+ horsepower increase with a real 'Seat of the pants' feel of power. You get super quick throttle response with and off idle powerwith kit. Maximum horsepower without any major internal engine modifications."
(SIDEKICK 1.6L 8-valve FI to CARB CONVERSION) - "A whopping 25% horsepower increase with added torque."
