Restored CJ7 project, 1 tons, Magnum 5.2, bunch of other crap for possible trade/sell

I have an 83 CJ7 that was restored 3 or 4 years ago. Body is nice. I have a set of Dana 60s with I think 4.10 gears and welded. Front dana 60 is out of a 93 Cummins, has ORU crossover arm and PSC hydro assist ram and hoses. Rear is basic dana 60.

The Jeep has a pretty clean 4.2 that is still in it, the tranny is the stock 5 speed but something is wrong with it. I have a 94 Grand Cherokee I was going to swap the Magnum 5.2 (fuel injected ) and auto tranny into the CJ. The magnum motor and tranny are almost out (everything is unchooked or unbolted, just sitting in the engine compartment on the picker).

I still have stock CJ7 axles (they are in nice shape) but they are out of the CJ. I also have the complete ZJ minus some parts (washer tank and motors, ABS pump). I had planned on parting out the ZJ since I only wanted the motor and trans.

I have 3 sets of yota rear springs (the 20" offset on ones side ones) which is what I was gonna run, but the idea of cutting the body was getting to me since it is nice.

I still have the 33" all terrains that were on the CJ, they are nice, like new. Have a cruddy 33" mud terrain that is rough for a spare. I also have a set of worn 38.5 x 15 (rim) SXs, prob around 30 or 40 percent tread. No wheels. I have a set of weld on beadlocks for 15" wheels, the flame style ones from copperhead fab.

I also have a hard top and full doors. They are rough, need some work and painted (since the jeep looks so nice would like like crap on it, prob be ok on a not so nice jeep).

So I basically have everything to make a very nice looking and capable CJ7 with a Magnum 5.2L multi port injected Jeep, could even have AC if you wanted it.

I am sure I have alot more stuff that would go with it that I can't think of at the moment.

Here is a link to some pics, most are labeled jeep 1, jeep 2, etc. The lower the number is what it looked like before the resto, once you get to looking you will see all the dent and replacements being marked then the process in action, then the completed look. There are a ton of pics.

There are also some pics in there of the 33's and the ZJ.

Not really sure what I want for trade, something I can drive and wheel, so something complete. I know what my stuff is worth (I paid 8k for just the Jeep alone) and I know how much a nice built CJ7 can sell for. I dont' really need to trade, but it is getting freakin hot and my garage doesn't have AC and I am losing interest real quick.

I might be interested in some hard core stuff to put in another rig. Just let me know what you got.

I will sell outright for 10K (so this doesn't get deleted or moved).

this is what it looked like after resto. I also need some fab stuff, like bender and dies, and will also do trade plus cash deals. Basically open to anything.

Parts I wouldn't mind getting are built rockwells, portals, coilover shocks, 1.25" heims (or johnny joints or similar), beadlocks, 40"+ tires, air bumps, etc. There is alot of stuff I could use that I haven't listed.

Really itching for a hydro bender and nice tube notcher.

I would rather trade for stuff then sell (price listed was just filler to keep it from being moved). I will continue working on it but I will go much lower while it is apart then I would if it is finished, if I would even still want to get rid of it. I don't mind doing partial trade +cash on parts or another rig either.

I don't really want to part stuff out (of the build anyway), I am still building the CJ, just trying to trade it so I don't have to build it.

I still have the abs pump from the ZJ, so you could even have anti-lock brakes on the CJ

Change of plans, I don't need to trade for another rig, will sell everything for 8K or trade for parts mentioned above + cash. Trades for rigs aren't out the window, just not needing one like before.

Still looking for parts, but rig trades aren't out the window. I will go for something less and keep some of my stuff as well.

i've seen the bfg's and the cj, both are in great shape. this would be a really nice jeep to drive or wheel, but i agree that it's too pretty to cut up. it's way too nice.

No longer have the 33's, stock cj7 axles or the ZJ.

I have the restored CJ7, the nice stock 4.2L motor (with T5 that needs rebuild), Dana 60s with 4.10 gears with PSC hydro assist ram and hoses, 5.2 magnum motor with computer/harness, auto tranny mated to the motor, hard top, full doors, 38" SXs and a bunch of other crap that has been listed in this post.

If you don't want the 60s I can sub them for 1/2 ton axles out of a 99 Dodge Ram. Also not everything needs to go with the Jeep. Let me know what you want if you don't want everything and we can work out a cheaper deal.
