For Sale Or Trade- 2 Chevy 4x4's!!!

Ok iv always been a fast car kinda guy. I wanted to get into trucks and now that i have i just want to be back into something fast. With that being said these trucks i want to go as a package deal and would rather trade then sell them.

1st truck is a 1979 Chevy 3/4 ton 4x4. It runs and drives with out smoke, knocks, or leaks. It has 35in tires with no lift. The cab is pretty solid but there is a little rust. The fenders and bed have rust. All the lights work and i drive it every day. It has a 4 speed granny gear tranny in it and a NP205 transfer case. It has a 14 bolt rear and am not sure what frontend is in it. The inside is in good shape and i have all the parts for the AC in the bed.

2nd truck is a 1978 Chevy 1/2 ton 4x4. This truck was my DD till someone slashed my tires at the bar, It was cheaper for me to buy the other truck over putting tires on this truck. So it has 4 slashed 35in tires on it. I have started to pull parts off it to make the 3/4 ton better. So far i pulled the power steering pump, and carb and put it on the 3/4 ton. If you put the PS pump and carb from the 3/4 ton and some tires on it you will have another good running truck. this truck also has a granny 4 speed and a NP205 in it. But the frontend gears do not match the the rear so there is no front shaft and no 4x4 right now. Still a good running truck though. This truck does have alot of rust in the cab but no rust on the fenders and bed. So I was going to swap it all over to the 3/4 ton. The 1/2 ton has a GREAT running 305 in it and the 3/4 ton has a ok running 350 in it.

Ill trade for a mustang, camero, or some other sporty car. Or ill take the best offer for the lot. Let me know what you have or what you offer through PM.

I can send pics through text to PM your number for pics.

So once again you balk on a deal, twice in a week. Good to know your word isn't worth a sh.t. Good luck.

What is your deal kid?

This guy tells me that he was coming this past weekend to get the 205, and rear driveshaft. Then the DAY HE IS SUPPOSE TO SHOW he dont... He makes up some story and tells me it will be next weekend.

I tell him that i put 3 other people off cus he told me that he was coming and then didnt...

I held my word, your the one that said you would show then tell me you cant. Then expect me to hold it another week for you after you stand me up this last weekend. How am I the bad guy?

I talked to you last Thursday. We both agreed that I could come out either on Monday or the following weekend. That was due to my being out of town and not knowing how much rain we would get. You agreed that either would be fine and to touch base on Monday after I got back in town. I did. I told you I had to work on my Dodge and would come out Sat. That's when you backed out of our deal.

We had a deal, you knew there would be a chance that we may have to do it the following weekend. If you didn't want to wait, you shouldn't have agreed to it. You're the one in the wrong, admit it and get over it. Your word still isn't worth a sh*t in my book.

You're lieing now.

One last word and you can have your thread and I'm done with you. I'm not going to sit here and b*tch back and forth when we know the truth.

It was made very clear that the deal would go through on either Monday or the following weekend. You clearly understood. If you want to cut hairs, YOU are the one that brought up next weekend because of the rain. We had a deal TWICE.

I passed up another local t-case because we had a deal for this weekend. Oh well, there will be more.

Good luck with whatever you do...

I don't dispute I wanted to come Monday. I guess lesson learned with making "verbal" deals. There was a time when a deal was a deal.

This is starting to sound like a broken record. I'm not sure how else to explain it. Maybe if I type real slow, you'll understand.

YOU suggested and we BOTH AGREED either Monday OR the FOLLOWING WEEKEND. What's so difficult to understand? I never backed out of the deal, I was going with what we both agreed on. That was EITHER MONDAY OR THE FOLLOWING WEEKEND... Got it?

What else is there to say? It's real cut and dry, you're wishy washy and change your mind as the wind blows.

Go sell your stuff and have a nice day.

I can show where you said you were coming monday, You cant show where I said you had another week to put me on hold...

The reason I keep going is becuse my word means everything to me and i did not say that... So now your going to have everyone here thinking im not a good guy and thats bull sh*t cus you could not hold your end of the deal...

That's because you're word isn't worth a sh*t and you can't keep your stories straight. Yes, you have it in writing that I wanted to come Monday, no dispute. Verbally, you suggested and we both agreed, to either.

I've been around a long time and anyone I've ever had dealings with will stand up and say that I am straight forward with everything I say or do. Why is that? Because Karma can be a B*tch.

Why would I lie about a deal we had? What do I have to gain out of it? Nothing.

Most people will make their own decisions about you, with how YOU deal with them, not based on what went on here.

Are we done yet? I have work to do.

I have to agree with you. If someone is going to leave something negative, they should stand up and leave their name. However, the reputation points are there for entertainment purposes, as stated by Rastus many times.

With that said, Thanks for the negative on mine... lol

Maybe Eric, Rastus or one of the other moderators will go through and clean this thread out and let you get back to trying to sell.

How smart is it to run your mouth to someone you have never met or seen while your name and number is posted to the public?

You dont know me and ill only give you one warning to leave me alone... Walk away...

Am I running my mouth now? No,I am responding to you because you have been a dick to me for no reason.

Yes my name.number and address are all listed on the internet...plastered everywhere, guess what! it was intentional,So what.

From what I have read this is a product of failed communication on both of you. The responses should have never went 'flame'..it should have been 'WTF? why are you trying to sell the stuff? I thought we had a deal?' instead of bashing saying he was backing out twice and word was not worth sh!t...and in return sho you should have made it very clear to him that if you did not have a deposit or atleast his verbal word... "I promise you I will be there at an EXACT time and date"... then the stuff is still on the market.
Niether of you secured the deal from what I have read. Maybe just squash it before it gets anymore out of hand and move on.
This is my take from what I have read...just MY OPINION.
pretty much this is what Texas was trying to say.(stamp+check=deposit, words are empty without action)

Careful, you're liable to receive negative rep for posting in this thread, that seems to be the trend.
