Im not actually really sure, I bought the motor from a guy on here a couple of years back and he had swapped the carb and intake for a tbi on this motor. He told me that almost all parts he got for it he would go and say he needed parts for i wanna say a 89ish chevy suburban or truck. I could be wrong though maybe he might see this post and chime in lol. I forgot his name on here. Ill post the pics I have. He had the motor in his TJ.

Its all back in bay city at the moment I can get you some numbers this weekend and if the distributer thats on there wont work with my carb set up then yes you can have it too, or possibly a swap cause I think I need a standard HEI for my zz4. Im not real big on these things and knowing what you need for what and to be honest im glad you thought of that. let me know if yall have any more info

and doing prelim research and backing up what Blazer said I think you will need the dist. and I need a mech advance for a carb so.....let me know if a trade might sound good??

Blazer does a 78 stock 350 have HEI? if so then I can run my old dist and sure you can have that too

no problem, I forgot about the actual tbi to get the numbers on it but im almost positive that it was pulled off with the intake. and like I said previously one of the injectors is flooding so at least one rebuild kit i was just gonna do both to make sure

Just fyi, the "standard" big cap HEI can be used with the tbi, but not without modification. You have to lock out the mechanical and vacuum advance, and you have to swap in a 5 pin ignition module (i think 5, maybe 7 pin, it's been a while). There's websites out there that detail this swap.

That being said, it's a lot easier to just pick up a tbi small cap HEI dist. and coil at a junkyard.
