Alarm/keyless entry for my superduty

I am so sick of my current system because it is unreliable. It is made by Saber and was dealer installed when I bought the truck. What I like about it is you have to unlock the truck with the key fob to be able to start it, but therein lies the problem as well. It seems when the temp inside the truck is pretty high from sitting in the sun, the system takes a lot of coaxing to work, so there have been times I spent 15 minutes trying to get the key fob to unlock the doors so I can start my truck. One day this will leave me stranded. Also, it doesn't seem to work unless I am pointing the fob into the window.

So I am in the market for a new one. I am looking for advice on what you have and what you like as well as quality installers. Not necessarily a business, so if you have a friend who does great work, I am ok with that especially if he makes house calls or is on the West side. But I will travel a fair distance for a good install. As far as the system, I want a simple one, not a two-way, call 911, my grandma and the swat team if it's getting broken into. Just something that does your normal alarm features as well as unlock and locks the doors from anywhere with 25ft + radius. I have cash and ready to go.

Thanks for the help!

J.D.

for installers i wouldn't trust anybody except custom sounds. they're expensive but it's done right the first time and they stand behind their work. but then again i'm kinda biased because i've bought all my stuff from them before i worked for them and after
