God willing I hope to be changing job titles and move on to Fabricator in Fleet Maint. Trailer Division. Not sure how that is going to pan out with 12 hour shifts overnight.
But, I'll submit my request here at the store level.

We took the kiddos to the Saturday night show. Kids had a blast as always. It was the first time for my wife to see the show. We all had a great time.

I know this may sound like a dumb question but think a 3 year old would sit through this? How long does the "show" usually last?

My son loved it. Big thanks to Bobby and all the MFW for letting us hang out. I know my son will always remember that experience.

I'll try to get some pics up later tonight.

The SA show was about 3 hours long. I think they're usually about 2 hours long though. The first time we took my son he was 2 1/2 and sat through the whole show...then again he's always been fascinated by them and says he wants to be a monster truck driver when he grows up.

Brent,

Yeah, I think you'll be okay. I started off my first boy when he was 3. He's on his 3rd Monster Jam now and we just took our youngest (3 y/o) this year. They did fine. Toward the end, he asked how much longer it would be (truck broke down and it was silent for a while). Once the trucks were back up and running he forgot all about it.

The Sat show was a little over 3 hours. I know the Sunday show went for the same amount of time b/c I had a buddy there.

Tim

72Blaze,

I'm with you, I think the shows in years past were shorter. I always figured 2 hours but when we got out on Saturday night I was surprised that it was past 10.

Thanks Tim. Is there a better night to go?

Brent,

This was the first year we did the Saturday night thing. It was fun just a lot more crowded than on Sunday. You will be fine either day.

Metal Head will become famous soon enough
Monster Mutt lost a ton of the body on Sunday night's show; I got a 6" wide piece that had part of a spot on it, but they took it. There was over a good square foot of white stuff that looked like part of a truck body in one of the wrecked cars, but it was all in pieces and so badly mangled up I couldn't tell who it came off of.

I got to keep the piece from Back Draft, a section of pipe that came off Grave Digger's frame, and my staff shirt with 5 signatures on it. I'm a big fan of autographed memorabilia, so I got a pretty good haul IMO.
