Problems with landscaping plants

Hi Y'all,

Do we have anyone here on the board that does landscaping around their homes?

I have purchased several perennial's to hang in the back yard along the fence. They have been receiving appropriate water and weekly Miracle-Gro as directed. The plants have been wilting and dying. No known reason why. All plants are meant for 6+ hours of sun. They receive that and the same of shade.

This is the first time I've attempted anything like this in Texas and I know the heat has been above normal. Any ideas? Is anyone else having problems? Could it be SA water?

Thanks for any ideas, help or thoughts.

Manny

I brought all mine under the front porch, they were drying out even with daily water. Sun is good, heat seems to be the kicker for mine. No clue what a perennial is or needs but "reflected off the walls of the house" sun is good enough for mine in 100% shade.
