Before y'all make fun of me, I'm posting this because those in the area with severe respiratory issues, like myself, may be affected.

... DRY WEATHER WILL CONTINUE THIS WEEK...


AFTER MODERATE TO STRONG NORTH WINDS DURING THE DAY... LIGHT NORTH TO NORTHEAST WINDS WILL CONTINUE TONIGHT. WITH WIND SPEEDS EXPECTED TO BE AT OR BELOW 5 MPH TONIGHT... SMOKE FROM AREA FIRES COULD BECOME TRAPPED IN THE INVERSION THAT FORMS TONIGHT THROUGH AROUND 8 AM TUESDAY. RAPID MIXING IS EXPECTED TO BREAK UP THE INVERSION BY 9 AM TUESDAY... ENHANCING THE MIXING OF ANY PATCHY AREAS OF SMOKE OR HAZE. COOL EARLY MORNING LOWS ARE EXPECTED TUESDAY. A SUNNY AND DRY DAY WILL FOLLOW... WITH HIGHS IN THE MID TO UPPER 80S ACROSS THE HILL COUNTRY TO THE LOW AND 90S OVER ADJACENT PARTS OF SOUTH CENTRAL TEXAS.


AFTER THE WARMEST ALL TIME MONTH AND AUGUST AT AUSTIN MABRY AND SAN ANTONIO... AND WARMEST AUGUST AT DEL RIO... MODERATED DAYTIME HIGHS ARE EXPECTED THIS WEEK THROUGH FRIDAY... WITH COOL OVERNIGHT LOWS.


DRY CONDITIONS WILL CONTINUE THIS WEEK. LIGHT NORTH WINDS ON TUESDAY AND WEDNESDAY... WILL INCREASE SLIGHTLY ON THURSDAY... BRINGING ELEVATED FIRE WEATHER CONDITIONS IN THE DAYTIME HOURS ON THURSDAY.







Please exercise care when going out tomorrow morning and during the day. The volume mix of smoke and/or ash is not known for our area at this time.

Lord, please bring rain to stop these fires and touch the hearts and minds of those who have lost loved ones and property because of the sick twisted individual(s) who deliberately and recklessly started this fire. In Jesus name, Amen!

I know the smoke and smell is bad all the way here in Corpus..Smells like the fire is right here.

Thanks Manny - It is affecting alot of people out there ... weather doesn't help. Hope you and all involved fair well ... if you can stay indoors for your respiratory concerns. Rain would be good.
