.A WEAK TROPICAL DISTURBANCE WILL MOVE INTO SOUTH TEXAS TONIGHT... PRODUCING SEVERAL ROUNDS OF SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS ACROSS MUCH OF SOUTH CENTRAL TEXAS THROUGH FRIDAY. THROUGH THURSDAY NIGHT... THE HEAVIEST RAINS WILL CONCENTRATE GENERALLY EAST OF A BURNET TO BANDERA TO FRIO LINE... WITH WIDESPREAD RAINFALL TOTALS OF 1 TO 2 INCHES EXPECTED... AND ISOLATED HIGHER TOTALS OF 3 TO 5 INCHES POSSIBLE. THE SLOW MOVING DISTURBANCE IS EXPECTED TO PUSH WEST TOWARD NORTHERN MEXICO... TROPICAL DEPRESSION TWO IS MOVING WEST NORTHWEST ALONG THE LOWER RIO GRANDE VALLEY. THIS MOVEMENT WILL CONTINUE TONIGHT TAKING THE DEPRESSION INTO THE MOUNTAINS OF NORTHEASTERN MEXICO WEST OF EAGLE PASS BY FRIDAY MORNING. DEEP TROPICAL MOISTURE WILL LINGER ACROSS SOUTHERN TEXAS. BANDS OF SHOWERS AND ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS WILL CONTINUE TO ROTATE ACROSS SOUTH CENTRAL TEXAS TONIGHT. LOCALLY HEAVY RAINS CAN BE EXPECTED TONIGHT INTO FRIDAY. AS THIS SYSTEM MOVES FURTHER TO THE WEST-NORTHWEST LATE TONIGHT INTO FRIDAY MORNING... HEAVY RAINS WILL FOCUS ACROSS THE RIO GRANDE PLAINS AND EDWARDS PLATEAU. WIDESPREAD RAINFALL AMOUNTS OF UP TO 2 INCHES CAN BE EXPECTED. ISOLATED RAINFALL TOTALS OF 3 TO 5 INCHES ARE POSSIBLE WITH ISOLATED TOTALS OF UP TO 6 INCHES ACROSS THE RIO GRANDE PLAINS.
