It is a Google Ad issue that is coming from multiple networks. It's something that is affecting "hundreds of publishers" according to them some virus network trying to infect their publisher users and they keep changing the domain name/url of the ad. It is still on going battle for Google to resolve this for the past 2 weeks.

Each time you get this, please provide the screenshot as it reflects the url link to which the trojan leads to.

Every time I go to a new page on this site, I get an alert from Malwarebytes. It seems to have just started in the last few days. Don't remember it happening before that. Says something about "successfully blocked access".

No update yet. If you could get a screenshot of the Mal ware warning from Google that would be great. It will contain the URL that we need to remove from the forum.

What does "Mal ware warning from Google" mean?

Texas4x4.org is the only website that does this.

If the owners of this site gave a **** about anything other than selling aids, whoops I ment adds.....
This wouldn't be a issue...
The users of the forum shouldn't have to do the leg work to find a problem.

NEW OWNERS: if you don't give a **** about your purchase why buy? Its like buying a car and never washing it?

Its been months since I have visited Texas 4x4 on my computer, only cell phone. I'm not sending my computer to the repair shop every other week due to lazy Canadians Pirate is even worse....full of the dirty adds.

Wash this car before the wheels fall off, and no, we won't show you where the dirt is, LOOK.....

Took the old owner minutes, sometimes hours to solve these issues, without screenshots or detectives doing the leg work.

The old owner was concerned with keeping the membership happy, it was a place for fun, not for business. New owners care about keeping the bank account happy, and could give 2 shits less about what the members like. As long as the site brings them advertising money they are happy. When the owner knew a lot of the board personally, it was a lot different than owners who will never meet any members, hell they probably don't even know where Texas is... We can complain all we want though, but you can see what that does, nothing as they could care less. Members are having issues, but the ads work still so all is good in their world..

I feel confident that Vertical Scope will get the ad issue resolved. They been fairly quick to address other issues in the past. Just takes them some time.

just for the sake of asking, what browsers are you getting the malware warning in? IE, Firefox, Chrome, Opera, safari?

This is not the case at all. User safety is a big concern of ours but we do need help from time to time to reproduce the issue. The problem with the screenshots submitted is they contain no URL to the problem. If there is a virus on the forum then it is hiding in a file and will contain a URL. Once we know the URL we can have it removed from the forum. IP address will not lead to the problem.

We have techs who work all around the clock to keep our forums safe. When a warning come up on our end they get to work quick to remove it from the forum and get Google to scan the site to ensure it is safe. If our site was unsafe you would see a MalWare warning from Google or your browser warning you before you enter the forum.

To be on the safe side I will send the images to our tech team.

Speaking for myself, I have no idea what the above means. I see a warning and I don't know if it's from windows, google, malware or Bill Gates himself. I'm very little help as I am a user, not a tech. I've posted everything I know about the issue. This is the ONLY site, forum or whatever that ever gives me the message. I don't even have to be logged in. Just visiting the site produces the warning.

Dott,

I understand your frustration. I work with a lot of people who are more tech savvy then me and sometimes feel like this. I reported the issue to our bugs team and will update you with more information when I receive it.

I'm sorry I can't offer you more information right now.
