What is a good source for cheap air tanks? Wanting one to use for my OBA on the M880. I would like atleast a 5 gallon with at least 3 ports. I've looked on ebay but they are still kinda pricey.

Anyone got any ideas?

Worse comes to worst, go to Sears and get one of their portable air tanks and modify it to work. For example, you can get 5 gal usually for about $30 and it's brand new with a pressure guage and safety popoff. I think they are rated for 110PSI.

4" sch 40 PVC worked well for me in the past. You can size up sections to fit in all sorts of nooks and crannies, then connect 'em all with hose. Drill and tap for 1/4" pipe fittings at overlapping glue joints.

every semi truck with air brakes has 1...sometimes more. some trailers even have them. No reason to buy new, this is just what you need. just look for a wrecked truck. bigok

Do they have the mounting legs/feet/hardware on them or with them? I didn't know they carried any, I need to go check that out as well.

Thanks Eric.

they have legs on them to set them down. Can be easy to modify to bolt down. there the tanks that you fill up with a air compreesor and then put them in your truck to fill your tires. the hoses on them com off and you can us a collection of fittings to get the system you want. they also already have a gauge on them. i think there 5 gallon. ive seen them at wally world, tractor supply, sears, and even the ocational auto parts store.
