can someone tell me what year my motor is if i give # the heads also?i know its BB came out of 74 k20 that had 350 on the grill

The best way to find out exact info is to go off the build/serial numbers. I'm not sure of the exact location on the BBs, but its on a flat pad in front of the pass. head on the SBs.

The casting numbers on the rear bell housing mounting area will just give you a general idea of the year model and might also cover a few different engine sizes.
