I've driven this K5 for a while now and it's always ran GREAT. It still runs perfect actually, but yesterday the "CHOKE" light in the speedo came on, and it hasn't gone off.

What would cause this? I don't know much about the build of my engine because I'm no motor-head (obviously), but I didn't think I had a "choke" hooked up at all. It has a new engine installed with a Holley Carb (650 cfm I think).

Anyone?

the choke light comes on because there is an oil pressure switch, down on the block above the filter, that when it closes puts power tot he electric choke.
if it don;t close, then the light is on.
better be checking oil pressure, real quick.
probably a bad switch, or wiring.
