Melody bought a used Jeep yesterday.
It's a 1995 Grand Cherokee 4x4. its has some kind of straight 6 in it. it also is automatic. i havent had time to learn much about it yet. I am gonna try not to wheel it.

Cool. It should have the 4.0 if its a I6.

Zach is dead on with the motor. It'a 4.0L Inline Six, they have made that motor since 1991 IIRC. They are good motors and parts are cheap for them as well. Not HP monsters but they do have good low end torque.

That is the power tech I6 and it has about 190 horses and gobs of torque, good find and the gas mileage should be very good, we had a 1996 Grand Cherokee model with that engine.

the 4.0 has been around since 87, i have them in both my 87 xj's. in 91 they upgraded it a little and added an H.O. to then end for high output. hesco makes a stroker kit for it if you want to get carried away and i believe whipple has a supercharger for it

cool, its good to know that the motor is a good one. i checked the 4x4 out and it seems to work. low end seemed pretty low.
